Thankfully, I snagged a last minute reservation at The Obstinate Daughter, or OD as the locals affectionately call her. Talk about popular, this resto never disappoints. Jam packed and standing room only, we waited for our table enjoying the boisterous vibe. I ordered the crispy duck and boy was I happy! Flavorful crispy skin, moist meat, and a tangy cabbage side that perfectly melded with the richness of the duck. Pizza for my friend: to die for with homemade thin crispy crust, perfectly burnt around the edges with gooey mozz and tomatoes. Next, we had the homemade dessert, Afogotto, with its tiny espresso pitcher to pour over the gelato. I think its the best I’ve had, although I have not eaten it in Italy. Reserve ahead my friends!
