Blisters forming, calories burning away, smelling the food drifting in the air on the monthly first Friday art walk in downtown Charleston. I was starving. Never deterred by crowds, walking by Husk on Queen Street, we snagged an outside table! Ahhh–a breeze, a glass of crisp white wine, and people watching. Husk has a renowned rep for excellent classic Southern fare. So I figured what the heck, I’ll order the fried catfish. Oh my, the perfectly lightly breaded crusty flaky moist catfish was divine, served in a large portion with collards. Mmmm, sooooo good! Exceptional service, from the hostess to the servers.
