This strawberry champagne cake tastes as good as it looks. When I found out that Herd Provisions makes all of their desserts in house, I knew I had to order one. That, paired with the fact that it’s strawberry season in Charleston, sealed the deal. The cake layers were dense and reminiscent of a pound cake. The thick, sweet strawberry jam was offset perfectly with fresh whipped cream. Yes, I ate every bite.
