Downtown Charleston was busy preceding Easter holiday weekend. Add local celebs dining to the vibe at SNOB (Slightly North of Broad) for the cool factor. While the Hall Family restaurants all exemplify excellent dining, SNOB is located in a wood-beamed-ceiling old warehouse dating back to the 18th Century providing an old world atmosphere with consistently great cuisine. I nudged into the bar area, snagging a seat amidst a packed house. Whew! I order beef carpaccio with arugula salad. The day was warm and I needed a sweet tea and some rare meat with red wine Dijon dressing and parm to cool me down. Flavor-packed and thinly sliced beef plus the tangy, peppery arugula salad was just what the doctor ordered for a continued sojourn through historical landmarks and charming homes.
