Greeted by the girls behind the counter as I walk in starving, after taking pics outside in the summer heat, I’m craving something delicious and fattening! I settle on the El Cubano sammie. Hot and juicy pulled pork, ham, swiss, dijon mustard and dill pickle on a cuban roll. Yummo! Spicy moist, meat and dripping juices and yes, oozing cheese on a soft roll, pressed but still nice and fat. Yes, yes to potato chips. As I depart with a half left, (for next morning’s breakfast), the gals quip: Have a nice afternoon, Susan! Always a home run, Queen Street Grocery delivers!
