With an amazing menu peppered with beef options priced by the ounce, I opted for something incredibly untraditional. It wasn’t the price tag, as I was treating a large group, it was the intrigue. I confidently ordered the Crab Spaghetti special. A boatload of Dungeness crab, nduja, garlic breadcrumbs and hints of lemon. Magnifico! The environs were lively, yet not loud. The wait staff, exceptional. All of the “moo” suggestions were more than well received by my guests which was my singular goal. San Diego has a world-class food scene, and the Gaslamp Quarter is at the heart of it, with Huntress supplying the necessary oxygen.
