A wide and varied modern Mexican menu from Chef Richard Sandoval, this lovely spot populates a buzzy corner in Larimer Square, not too far a walk from the Denver Convention Center. I went with the seafood enchilada, featuring generous chunks of crab and shrimp nestled beneath a gentle mole sauce. The tortillas were chewy and flavorful and we opened with a GREAT ancho chili mezcal margarita. Escape that rubber chicken convention food and try Tamayo. It’s worth the stroll.
