I’ve been a big fan of Cask Southern Kitchen in the Plainview neighborhood since their “Little Engine that Could” opening during covid, and their growing success since. The atmosphere is relaxed but not over the top, the service is quality, they have one of the hardest working local owners in Louisville –and their food is top notch! This fresh blackened salmon was HUGE and served with a flavor-loaded side of southern greens and some bacon and onion packed green beans (subbed for the hoppin’ john). Add in a quality bar and convenient parking and you’ve got yourself the makings of a great night, but I’m hoping you’ve already been once or twice and know that for yourself. Cheers!
