It was the word  “Algoor” in front of the menu choice Chicken Tikka that grabbed my attention. I love chicken tikka, but I had never seen this before. The waiter’s answer? A spicy form of the well-known dish. And he was not kidding. The inviting eatery was packed with nearly all Indian people (always a good sign), but there seemed to be only one chef working in the open kitchen. No mattter. The perfectly cooked dish arrived in 20 minutes fresh and hot from the Tandoor oven. Talk about juicy inside! And the yellow dal and garlic naan was terrific too. A great find on the main drag in Chapel Hill. Go.
