Yellowtail Aguachile
Have you ever been to a restaurant that’s highly rated, but you leave disappointed as the food isn’t what it was hyped up to be? That’s happened to me before, but not at Wolf In The Woods! Voted Best Restaurant in San Diego in 2024, my expectations were high. But when I tasted this yellowtail aguachile – with avocado, serrano peppers, shallot, micro cilantro, watermelon radish and olive oil, I couldn’t wait to try more from chef Carmine Lopez. Almost all of the dishes on the menu are tapa-styled and you’re encouraged to order family style. I can’t think of a better way enjoy these dishes.
