I was delighted to visit Upper East on Grand, one of Historic Downtown Escondido’s newest restaurants. Like other similar establishments on Grand Avenue, the whole front of the place opens up garage door-style lending a nice, indoor/outdoor vibe. It really connects nicely to this revitalized promenade breathing new energy and vibrancy into the heart of Esco. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and genuine. I ordered the Fish & Chips and it was outstanding! Such a generous portion at an affordable price. Everything came out hot, crispy and flavorful. That tartar sauce itself was excellent and the grilled lemon half was a nice touch. Loved the selection of craft beers on tap plus full bar to boot. I look forward to returning again very soon.
