Wedge Salad with Shrimp
Can we talk about the Wedge? Seemingly old school as a salad offering, yet so versatile and likable. I order a wedge when I am in an indecisive mood because it never disappoints. I started with the tomato bisque, which was delicately flavored, tangy yet rich. The Wedge was the perfect foil, with fresh-caught briny and tasty grilled shrimp, paired beautifully with the homemade dressing, bacon and tomato cubes. The portion size left me room for fried green tomatoes, but that’s a story for another day. If you are in Savannah and can drop in at Rocks on the River at the Bohemian, whether the roof top bar or the dining room, don’t miss it. Service is excellent and the menu is fresh, creative and regionally appropriate with a fine wine list.
