Uh-oh. 24 hour donut joint! Trouble. And man is it good. I opted for the vanilla creme, because vanilla creme is my weakness. I found it light, almost fluffy, even at midnight, which suggests to me they are baking new batches around the clock. The creme bordered on whipped, not a granular sugar paste at all. Just the right density and sweetness. Healthy bedtime snack? Hmmmm.
