The Kebab Shop is one of my favorite local workday lunch spots! This place has really delicious and “approachable” Meditteranean style food. TKS has a number of locations throughout California, even a few in Austin, TX. The menu is quite varied but could not be more straightforward. You simply choose the “Wrap,” “Box” or “Plate.” Pick a protein and sides. Highly customizable. I usually get “The Plate” – with carved lamb and beef from their vertical rotisserie. Plus long grain saffron rice and the refreshing cucumber-dill salad. And always a side or two of their excellent house garlic yogurt sauce. Highly recommended!
