Sometimes I just want to have a bite of a great birthday cake without having a whole cake actually in the house. When I get that craving, I go to Party Favors in Brookline. I get one (or two) of their tea cupcakes. Each one is a bite and a half of heaven. Having enjoyed many cakes from Party Favors, the taste of their cake and their tea cupcakes are the same. This is an amazing feat in and of itself considering the size difference. They have conquered what for me would be impossible as a home baker. Whether you prefer vanilla or chocolate, the deep, rich flavors of their moist birthday cakes are duplicated in their tea cupcakes right down to the frosting and a flower.
