The first place I go to when I want my first dessert from Bakes for Breast Cancer is Cabot’s Ice Cream & Restaurant in Newton, MA, just outside of Boston. It’s my ritual. The truth is I can easily eat a strawberry chunk ice cream (which is only made for the event) with strawberry sauce, whipped cream and chocolate chips for breakfast – and I do! Trust me, there is no stopping just after the first bite. The large pieces of strawberry in the sauce along with the delicious strawberry ice cream with chocolate chunks and the right amount of whipped cream makes each bite a gift. Breakfast is over when the spoon reaches the bottom of the tulip sundae glass. I always leave wanting more which is when you know you had something good.  No one ever leaves Cabot’s without a smile on their face!
