Surrounded by the backdrop of the NBA Finals, a friend of mine and I took in the modern east-coast-like atmosphere of Art & Jake’s Sports Bar & Grill. As the Indiana Pacers fell behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, I was pacing through the vast variety of menu options. My friend settled on their Detroit-style pizza which was cooked with a satisfactory amount of stretchy cheese. I accepted our server’s recommendation of the Strawberry Fields Flatbread; eight crisp yet tender pieces topped with herb marinated chicken, mozzarella, smoked applewood bacon, red onion, basil, balsamic drizzle and strawberries. It was delicious and filling. My game plan for the next visit is to slam dunk their Smokehouse Turkey sandwich and Spud Nachos.
