SHRIMP AND GRITS
Booyah! We finally have our very own breakfast/lunch spot in our neighborhood. We welcome Geoff & Kate to our little slice of heaven in the Orlando burbs. Eggs Up is percolating with its South Carolina Low Country charm, the bright, well-spaced venue more than welcoming. The menu has oodles of original breakfast and lunch offerings, but I opted for the highly touted shrimp and grits. What a combination of happiness! Sautéed shrimp, andouille sausage, green peppers, sautéed onions and Swiss cheese, on top of fire-roasted tomato and spinach grits. Topped with two eggs and served with garlic toast. Not a bite was left. I have been back two more times in their first week since opening.
