Sausage Pepperoni Pizza
I have a list of what I miss about home, but my number 1.5 is tucking into a New York slice. Instead of booking a flight, I drive an hour to Fellini’s Pizza. This spot is worth the traffic because it’s the closest thing I can get to a real slice, but they still have a unique charm. Their pie ratio is perfect. There’s not an overwhelming amount of cheese. You can request extra. I never have to ask for more marinara. They also don’t skimp on the toppings. I’m a pepperoni gal. Most importantly, it’s piping hot, and they give tons of extra garlic, basil and oregano. Their pizza is flavorful, but I love extra garlic. It doesn’t matter if it’s early or close to midnight, torrential downpour or sunny, there will always be a line. Good things come to those who wait, right?
