Orlando’s food scene has definitely achieved top-tier status in recent years and the Christner family’s prime beef and Maine lobster is one of the reasons. With a traditional steak house atmosphere, Christner’s serves up a couple of bars and a terrific piano lounge (the way it was intended to be). My favorite evening is when I take my girls and we get our corner table in the back. We split some apps: wedge, shrimp or Ahi, but the reason we are there is the NY Prime Strip for Two. It is huge and perfect! What a gorgeous specimen. We each get several magnificent hunks which pair beautifully with the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Osage Spinach, Brussel Spouts or any of their beautiful potato offerings. Plan on spending some time and don’t forget their regionally renowned Mandarin Orange Cake.
