Remember road trips? Remember college sports? Last year my son and I were driving from Chicago to Ithaca, NY to take him back to school. We decided to overnight in Columbus and catch a Buckeyes basketball game. The arena was packed, the game was great, and we had some beers afterwards in the popular N. Columbus area. Time to head back to the Hampton Inn for the night. Sight unseen we walked into Blaze Pizza and ordered up. Back at our room the steam was still rising from the pie. The toppings were fresh and the crust crispy. The sauce was just right. We’re NYers. We can be tough critics. A year later we miss packed arenas and father/son road trips. But we’re still talking about that pie.
