Outstanding Pastrami Reuben at Public House 131 in San Diego’s beautiful Scripps Ranch neighborhood. Prepared “New York Style” with 1000 Island dressing, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and mustard on rye bread. Comes with a pickle spear and your choice of side. I always love their hot, crispy onion rings. This Reuben is among the best you’ll find in SoCal without going to an old-school Jewish deli. The sandwich is stacked with a generous amount of pastrami and thoughtfully constructed. It’s really the perfect balance. It’s not so huge that you have to dislocate your jaw to eat it. Public House 131 is a fantastic local gastropub with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
