Located on uber-hip Park Ave in Winter Park is my favorite Mediterranean retreat, Bosphorous. With a handful of locations in central Florida, Bosphorous is as legit as it gets this side of Greece and Turkey. I stopped in during Orlando’s Magical Dining Week to find a full menu of delicious options (3 courses $40). I went with the lamb shank, as I had never tried it there. Dreamlike, fall-off-the-bone tenderness and flavors that transported me to the food elation pinnacle. They should bottle and sell the gravy! Coupled with a beautiful lavash bread and finished by a terrific baklava, I will be returning quite soon and do it all again.
