I generally don’t go to airports for the food, but recently stranded for three hours in Columbus, Ohio, I stumbled upon – Wolfgang Puck! As a fan of the original Spago, I decided to forgo a cup of Auntie Anne’s pretzel hot dogs to see how the years had treated this most innovative of chefs. The Italian pizza had the thinnest layer of pepperonis, onions, roasted red peppers, and the key ingredient – slivers of pepperoncini riding atop the just slightly (and pleasantly) burnt cheese. Crisp and cooked to perfection, every bite was a tastebud fiesta. Bravissimo Chef Puck. A flight delay has never tasted so good.
