I’m the offspring of a carnivorous lineage. My preferred cuisine is served excellently at the award-winning Meat BBQ in Old Town, Lansing, MI. During a recent visit I dared to take their House Smash Burger for a spin. Famed for its monthly rotating toppings, their gourmet carousel brought around two smash patties, scratch brown gravy, cheese curds, fries, and black pepper mayo on a golden toasted bun. The first bite of this very savory, well-seasoned sandwich sent my tastebuds spinning! Once I’d cycled through the entire burger I realized I liked everything about it except the cheese curds.
