I slipped up. Blew through Nashville and forgot to sample the “hot fried chicken.” So I availed myself of this tasty bar sandwich at a local Charlotte night spot. The bun was perfect. Each bite of chicken left a nice afterburner kick. The creamy sauce dressing complemented the heat. But it was that lone slice of pickle that rounded this easygoing sandwich to “just right!”
