Halloumi Cheese Stix
Are you a turophile? Don’t worry, it’s nothing bad, and I’ll admit to being one. It’s a cheese lover. Especially when the cheese is halloumi, a semi-hard cheese made from a mixture of goat’s and sheep’s milk (and sometimes also cow’s milk). This cheese was made to be fried and served warm with condiments. At Tahini, they are serving authentic Middle Eastern food, including this dish. The imported halloumi cheese is fried and served with pita bread, fig jam and cucumber yogurt sauce. My only advice is to get two baskets as you will not want to share.
