Gyro Platter
Everyone has a favorite diner. Hands down it is Argo’s for us. Breakfast & lunch only with a menu that will rival any highly regarded neighborhood haunt. I have tried everything from the 4-egg omelets to George’s Greek Meatloaf. Today I kicked it gyro-style. The platter with the best homemade tzatziki, beautifully colored (and delicious) garnishes, “my kind” of sides and even started with a huge house salad (had a choice of 4 soups as well). The all-in cost – $10.95 (Sorry New York). If you are closer to the City Beautiful, try Argo’s sister restaurant, Christo’s in College Park.
