The Butcher Shop is an old school, legit, classic Chicago-style steakhouse. The ambiance here is elegant, dark and intimate. Rich wood paneling, red leather booths, gleaming brass appointments, beautifully etched glass panels and a cozy fireplace make this restaurant a must visit! They serve the finest cuts of steaks and chops. I just love their thoughtful accents of smoked blue cheese and red wine reductions. The highlight for me though is always their beautiful selection of desserts. Creme Brulee is a favorite of mine and they serve among the best in San Diego.
