As I walked up to this brightly painted food truck for the first time I was shocked to be peering straight into my own death. Dia de Muertos (The Mexican day of the dead) is painted all over their truck. The Carne Asada Torta was made from large chunks of perfectly season ground beef. The grilled bread brings the fat of the meat, the crispness of lettuce, and the cool tomato into a singular flavor structure. Also the juice of grilled peppers  and onions suspended in the once fluffy bread was delightful. Go to El Paisa, Mexican food good enough to die for.
