I always consider myself blessed to live in Southern California, where Mexican restaurants are prolific. One of the things I love to order is a carne asada quesadilla. The perfect, simple thing you can pick up with your hands and eat on the go. Here at Mariscos Mar de Cortez, though, it’s a super-stacked behemoth, teeming with tender, flavorful grilled carne asada and just enough cheese to bind it all together. Both are skillfully enveloped in a giant flour tortilla. The plate only needs to be adorned with thoughtful dabs of fresh guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Comes with some of the best chips & salsa in town.
