Brisket Bowl
Who woulda ‘thunk it? We go to Luke’s a good deal, but typically for drinks and apps as they have a fabulous bar area. This was our first time for Sunday brunch, and what a treat! We learned that every weekend there are new items, so I took a flyer on something that I couldn’t have come up with on my own. The brisket bowl was not only beautiful to gaze at, but even better on its way down. A flat-out gorgeous piece of perfectly cooked and seasoned brisket nestled on a base of crispy rice. It was accompanied by a poached egg and a homemade slaw mix. Well under $20 and worth every nickel. Located just outside of the City Beautiful, Luke’s should be on your list.
