Business park delis are often overlooked in our American culinary landscape. Usually they are family-run small businesses and I always enjoy supporting them when I can. I have been eating at Summers Deli for the better part of 25 years. Located in North San Diego County’s Rancho Bernardo neighborhood, this establishment has been feeding hungry tech workers, delivery drivers, and anyone passing through for more than a generation. On this visit I arrived before 10:30 am and decided to try one of their breakfast sandwiches. I’m so glad I did because this bacon, egg and American cheese on a toasted English muffin was outstanding!
