This place is the real deal on a block chockfull of them. Red and yellow painted cinder blocks, menu in Spanish, a cooler full of Agua Fresca sodas, and cash only. You get the picture. I went for a couple of tacos. Simple. The tortillas are tender as butter. The barbacoa rich and creamy. The lengua (tongue) has a nice gamey chew. The cilantro and onion pop could not be fresher and the tangy green sauce came in a baggy on the side. Five bucks of genuine joy!
