Asian Fried Chicken
Look at that crisped skin! Look at those herbs and spices! This innocuous little basket of fried goodness startles the senses. The first bite you’re like, “Yeah, sure, this is nice.” The second one, you’re looking ’round the table to see if you have to share the last piece with anyone. This dish was plucked from a plethora of good choices, both large plate and small, from this buzzy indoor and cozy garden outdoor spot in beautiful Louisville. The crisp Tokay plum wine was a great accompaniment. And the spicy afterburner kick of that bird still has me grinning.
