Antipasti – Veggie Style
Enzo’s on the Lake is a 40-year old Italian jewel of an eatery that seemingly never misses a beat. Not only does it hold a special place in my heart, as I met my wife there for the first time years ago, but the romantic setting and staff makes it a special occasion every visit. We typically kick it Pescatarian and last night was no exception. Veering from the bountiful meat-laden antipasto, we said, “Surprise us like we are 100% veggie.” Holy cannoli, what arrived was crazy beautiful. Butter beans, artichokes, vintage cheeses, mushrooms, eggplant and so much more. Only order for one or you won’t have room to finish one of their delicious home-made pasta specialties or insanely good Dover Sole.
