Have you tried kaiten-sushi, or conveyor belt sushi as it is often referred to here? Its popularity started in Osaka in the ’70s, where the plates of sushi revolve around the restaurant on a conveyer belt, or you can place a special order and have it delivered to your table. It is a unique dining experience where you get to visually see the sushi before deciding to get it, and you get a very large variety to choose from – 70 types at Mikami. So the only question is, how many plates can you consume?
