Polish Dog
I am blessed to live near one of San Diego’s most beautiful golf courses, San Vicente Resort, in the small town of Ramona. While I often dine at their fantastic chef-driven restaurant, sometimes I just enjoy the simplicity of their resort snack bar. Catering to golfers and swimming families, the snack bar is open to the public daily. Only a two-minute drive from home, I love the serenity of the covered patio with a stunning view of the 9th hole. Most recently I ordered a “Polish Dog” which was outstanding. Polish Dogs are typically made from a combination of pork and beef which yields a meatier texture and rich depth of flavor. Much more substantial than what you’d experience in an average hot dog. Includes your choice of toppings. I usually choose a more traditional selection of mustard and sauerkraut.
