Sticky Ribs
I finally checked out this new small plate appetizer at Par Lounge and Deck called “Sticky Ribs” and it is outstanding! Four meaty, tender, succulent back ribs are chicken fried, then tossed in a sweet, tangy, savory tamarind orange glaze. Garnished with crushed peanut, scallion and sesame seed, the crispy, crunchy coating married to the fall-off-the-bone rib meat is such an exquisite culinary juxtaposition. The Asian inspired flavors and textures are well balanced and delicious. This “small plate” is definitely a meal in itself, especially when paired with a hot cup of soup or a crisp dinner salad.
