The BC Bowl
If you haven’t met E+Rose Wellness Cafe’s BC Bowl yet, you’re missing out! This decadent and nutritious berry-based smoothie bowl hits the spot. The blend of oat milk, pitaya, bananas, strawberries, cherries, almond butter, pea protein, flax seeds, beet and cinnamon creates a wildly flavorful, nutrient dense smoothie bowl base. Pitaya chunks layered throughout offer a fresh and sweet twist with each bite. The notes of cinnamon add spiced and savory notes. Pea protein is one of my favorite ways to add protein to any dish, so this was a bonus. Topped with gluten-free granola, bananas, chia seeds, almond butter, local honey and cacao nibs, the added crunch took this bowl to the next level. The creamy almond butter adds a nutty flavor with each bite. If you’re looking for post-workout fuel or a new bowl to satisfy your açaí itch, I couldn’t recommend the BC Bowl more.
