Chocolate Cake
How lucky to get a resy at Table Asheville, where two-time James Beard Award nominee, Chef Jacob Sessoms and his wife Alicia, and team have been delighting diners since 2005! Wonderful, intimate ambience, jazz vibing in the background, mmmm we snuggled right in. Fresh and fabulous describes this local eatery where the wine list is continuously changed to reflect the dishes for pairing. The entire meal was phenomenal, beginning with the fresh greens, the steak tartare with frites, swordfish and chocolate cake. The steak tartare was delicious with capers, onions and frites. Swordfish served with fresh veg and golden broccolini was creamy, tender and so flavorful. But really, the star of the show was the chocolate cake with pistachio crust. Oooh la-la boys and girls. Don’t miss this treat if you are visiting the food forward town of Asheville. What a treat!
