Smokin’ Fins never ceases to surprise me with the diversity of their menu. My favorite is the sushi. Starting at the top is the Mojo Roll: salmon, cream cheese, spicy tuna, avocado, tempura fried with spicy aioli and Fins’ eel sauce. The combination of light avocado and cream cheese perfectly balances the spicy tuna and aioli. Next up, the Mango Tango Roll: Tempura shrimp, lobster-crab salad, avocado, mango topped with spicy aioli, habanero masago, and more Fins’ eel sauce. Perfection! Lastly, the Sunset Roll: Tempura shrimp, cucumber, avocado, topped with ahi tuna, green onion, toasted panko, habanero masago, and The Sauce. Tastebuds rejoice, these are the best sushi rolls I have tried in the Phoenix area. Go during happy hour all day on Sundays! The sushi rolls are buy one, get one half off. Smokin’ Fins requires a visit if you’re in the area, and worth the drive if you aren’t!
