When it comes to food, I am not prone to hyperbole. This might be the best damned chili verde ever! And they are not kidding about hot. Not “hot sauce” hot. This is internal, long-simmered chunks of pork emanating transformative gut health heat. I am going to be a better person for this. Or hospitalized. Either way, this dive bar chili is the real deal. Ask a bartender. They know.
