Good peeps make for good eats! I blasted into Doo-Dah on my way to a midday flight and the line was out the door. I snuck up to see if the counter was available and a guy in the know steered me to a seat. When I mentioned I had a flight to catch, he warned me the kitchen was backed up. I ordered the Shocker Scramble and crossed my fingers. A forgiving waitress had my plate in front of me in 10 minutes. This dish is ingenius! The Bechamel sauce was creamy, not gloppy and the veggies in the omelette popped. The pork belly chunks? Chewy, flavorful, a party in every bite. And then ya got your pancake right there, a sweet complement to the main umami bomb. Joy on a ten-inch plate! I made my flight. But I’ll be back.
