Seafood Hotpot
Before everyone gets bent out of shape about the faux-crabmeat in this splendid dish, allow me to point out that a) this product is so ubiquitous that it might have its own genus and b) it’s actually sweet and tasty. Now, as to the dish? Note that it is swimming with an abundance of scallops, shrimp, cuttlefish, and my favorite – fishballs! And submerged beneath the steaming vermicelli noodles, there is a whole filet of whitefish! (Not to mention abundant enoki mushrooms and bok choy blooms.) A perfect respite for an early chill fall’s day.
