Sausage Gravy and Grits
Word of mouth is a beautiful thing. So when last in Nashville I found myself asking around about must-go-to breakfast spots and Nashville Biscuit House came up again and again. For good reason! The whole menu full of southern early morning traditions was one temptation after another. But as a Yankee in the Music City I felt compelled to try two of my favorites: grits, and anything with sausage gravy. These dishes, with the accompanying eggs and potatoes, hit on every note. Rich, flavorful, just enough but not too much. I would order them both with a bowl of Raisin Bran, just because. They’re that good.
