If beef is your thing, Johnny’s is the real deal.  Founded 101 years ago by the Omaha stockyards, I tucked in for my beloved prime rib. At 5:30 p.m. the colorful, mural-ed dining room was packed by what I can only assume were regulars. Martinis are ten bucks. The Italian dressing on the house salad was simple and tangy, the way it used to be. And the beef was out of this world! Flavorful, resplendent with au jus, complemented with a baked potato snd a glass of house Cabernet. This is why you come to Omaha. I’ll be back.
