HoneyFire’s pork shoulder sandwich might well be my favorite pork sandwich, but before I get into that I want to bring up the atmosphere of the establishment. HoneryFire presents an interesting mix of rustic and modern styles within the decor. It may sound weird, but it somehow works together to give a very comforting and relaxed atmosphere. Now onto the food. I’ve never been a huge sauce kind of guy. I always felt that sauces usually overtake the flavor of the dish rather than enhancing it. Luckily, that isn’t the case with this sandwich and its HoneyFire Original sauce. There’s a sweetness that adds to the savory pulled pork without said savoriness being taken away. I have truly not had anything like it. Also, the green beans and mac & cheese are both great side options.
