Antipasto Stella
Sitting at the end of Wooster Street in New Haven is a new pizzeria going head to head with the likes of Pepe’s and Sally’s – long revered pizzerias in this small pizza-crazed town. Founded by four Albanian brothers who learned the art of pizza making in Naples, this pie delivered. Light, crisp dough (with authentic bubbles in the crust) was topped with just enough sauce and cheese and accompanied by various toppings. Order the Antipasto Stella – it is not to be missed! For pizza’s we went with the Margherita Veloce, both special daily pizzas and Salsicciotta. Loved when our server suggested we only have 2 salads for the six of us – she was right – and the brothers insisted we have a nutella pizza to end our meal. Dreaming of going back! There may be a new king of pizza in town.
