Pit Beef Sandwich
Yes, “beef sandwiches” are having their moment. I recently had mine five minutes off of I-95 just outside Baltimore and trust me, it’s a worthy detour. Line up at the no frills shack across the parking lot from a strip club and have the meat guy go rare. The beef is flavorful, hand-sliced from a quivering roast as you watch them load it onto a soft egg roll. I skipped all the fixin’s except for a few slices of pickle and onion, and some tangy bbq sauce on the side. Every bite was a beef flavor bomb. Someone should make a show.
